Great customer service! The breakfast buffet is extremely well kept and organized with a wide variety of choices. The first time I stayed at this Hotel, the GM apologized because they steam cleaned the carpets earlier and the floor may still be “a little bit damp.” I’ll take that all day long, the carpet is so clean! The second time I checked in, everyone remembered my name. The cleanliness is well above most 4-5 star Hotels I’ve stayed at. I’ve been staying here almost every week and when I check into the room, even the PHONE cord is wrapped properly around the phone, right down to the highest brand standard. I used to work in the Hotel industry and the attention to detail that Housekeeping has is impeccable. It is evident that the General Manager and his team take great care and pride in the Hotel. This particular Holiday Inn Express & Suites off Connector Drive is the cleanest, most well maintained I’ve ever stayed at. Talk about a hidden gem! I stumbled upon this Hotel after staying at a few other Love Field Hotels that were less than stellar. We gladly accept service animals and will continue to do so under the ADA guidelines. Our hotel has a policy and that is no pets. I apologize if you felt this was racially driven, but I promise that is not the case. In addition, they informed me that their website does not have any information about our hotel being pet friendly. They communicated that the reservations are booked via a third party. I actually did speak with Southwest Concierge to understand their customer reservation process in regard to your booking.

At 4pm, it had well past an hour since we last spoke and we had not received any update about your pet's whereabouts. You stated that you would have your pet removed since you did not want to pay the cleaning fee. At that point of time, you still did not inform to me that you pet was a service animal. According to ADA, service animals must be under the handler's control at all times. There were many times where you were in the public space of the hotel and your pet was left alone in the hotel room and not under your control. You brought your dog in from the side entrance. Front desk made me aware, and this prompted me to review the camera footage. At 2pm that same day, front desk observed you bringing in a dog kennel from the side entrance. Your reservation did not have notes about your pet, nor did you inform us that you had a pet. At 10am on February 23rd, you checked in at the front desk without your pet present.

He lied and said he’d talked to southwest concierge about accommodations for me elsewhere and that I’d receive a full refund. While driving to drop him off less than 2 hrs later in traffic on a Friday afternoon in Dallas, Viren Patel informed me that he’d checked me out of the hotel. I made accommodations for my dog at his vets office. He didn’t ask if the animal was a service animal. I received a call from the general manager asking if an animal was in the room. I chose pet friendly for my service animal and I to avoid issues. I paid to stay at this hotel through a third party site via Southwest Concierge.
